Road

There are four major motorways connecting Hertfordshire with the rest of the country:

• M25 – London Orbital motorway for journeys to London Heathrow Airport, the South and the West of England
• M1 and A1(M) – For journeys North (as far as Scotland)
• M11 – For journeys through Essex and Cambridgeshire, in the East   

Public Transport

Our county is well-serviced by an efficient and regular train network; the main providers including Great Northern, Abellio Greater Anglia and East Coast. London Kings Cross is just a 25 minute train journey from economic hub, Stevenage, and London Liverpool Street is 50 minutes from Hertford East.

There is also a good bus service - Intalink provides further details about travelling around Hertfordshire by both bus and train.
