Herts HR were finalists for three awards at this year’s Personnel Today Awards– one of the biggest events in the HR calendar.
Hertfordshire's team was up against the best of private and public sectors for the following awards: Excellence in Public Service HR; Excellence in Learning & Development and Health at Work, before being announced as overall winners in the Health at Work category for Healthy Herts - our employee wellbeing programme.
We all live busy lives and finding a good work-life balance can be challenging. Hertfordshire County Council is committed to helping employees to achieve this and offers a wide range of rewards and initiatives to support employees to sustain a healthy body, mind and work-life balance.
Healthy Herts was described by judges as: "An active and ongoing programme that is well considered and managed. The results are very good and show how gains can be made year on year."
Healthy Herts is delivered in partnership with colleagues in Occupational and Public Health and our Wellbeing Champions.
The team also won 'highly commended' in the Wellbeing at Work category at the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion awards earlier in the year. They were also finalists in the Health and Wellbeing award at the HR Excellence awards.
